Let's run this war like a bidness

If you start a business and it makes money, you don't abruptly say, 'Well, it worked. I started a business and made some money,' then shut the business down. No, what you do is keep the business going and try to get new customers.

If you're really successful, you expand and open a second location.

If you look at our glorious patriotic mission in the mideast from that perspective - a business that's making good money for its proprietors - I think everything you hear from the administration this month will make a lot more sense.

Just saw "No End in Sight" last night. Very tedious and somewhat out of date movie but SOOOOOO sobering. Estimated cost of Bushy's revenge: $1.8 trillion dollars. TRILLION. That is the MONEY that will be lost. Cost of suffering: Cannot be calculated.

I remember, even though I was very young at the time, a few people moving out of the US when Nixon was reelected. I should have moved 2 years ago.

There is an area in Copenhagen, Denmark called "Chistianna". It is a surreal place where they sell drugs right on the street. As you walk in, there is a sign that says "Now leaving the EU". Maybe we could annex the Red Cup from the US. Curt could be Czar. I want to be Secretaty of Piece, oops, I mean Peace. It'll be like Switzerland - we don't take no bullshit and everyone is fat and happy minus the Patek Phillipe watches.

I will never understand the Bush administration, no matter how I look at it.

I have a friend who thinks we should bomb all the countries who threaten us. He understands our fearless leader, in fact he loves him.

He also says the word "Liberal" like he just ate some cat shit.

I wish he WOULD eat shit and stop giving it to me for not thinking like him.

BTW, Mindovermary is back blogging. Too bad I have nothing to say.

This has nothing to do with Iraq which is like a chronic illlness... after a while if you don't want to spend all your time flat on your back, you ignore it.

But that boat painting you did below...

I'm just really curious how you did it. You used Painter (obviously.) But did you draw it freehand? Did you sketch from a photograph?

I don't have a huge budget but I'd love to entice you somehow into working on some hot sauce labels with me.
