In fact, I’m tired of hearing about anyone's “brand.”
That meme has had ten years to run its course. Just let it go.

I don't know about that, but there was a TV show called "Branded" – the title of the post is a line from its theme song. It starred Chuck Connors, post-Rifleman, as Jason McCord, a US Cavalry officer who was 'branded' (but not literally) as a coward because he allowed Joe Lieberman to hijack healthcare reform just to gratify his own narcissism.
Or something like that. It was a long time ago.
