Friday

It's Friday. I'm still hacking and coughing. I'm out cough syrup. I'm just plodding along. I've slept most of the day.

Poor baby. Chicken soup and vitamin C are the only known remedies for the cold or flu.

Stop medicating yourself with stuff that makes you sleepy and stupid;they don't help you get over your cold faster, in fact they make it last longer.

I don't get a lot of chicken soup (wish I had some now, in fact) but I get a buttload of vitamin C every day. I take a vitamin supplement that gives me five times the minimum daily requirement - every day, not just when I'm sick.

Essentially, I'm a small child. I need June Cleaver sitting by my bed smiling approvingly while I eat a dish of strawberry ice cream.
