Also:

I want to mention how grateful I am for each and every friend I have, both those I've met and those I haven't.

This means you, patrizia, dzaster, John, RJ, soartstar, JohnX, catie, jules, bratwood, kgf, nina, divinea and anyone I've forgotten to name. I know there are many more. I really need that aspirin, I think.

iTunes: Dhun Man Pasand, Ravi Shankar

When is that didgeridoomania coming on?

Thanks for a very readable blog.

Readable in the sense that it's both well-written, AND contains interesting thought.

Most blogs aren't, and don't.

And, because you are a contemplative man, I ask you to meditate on this:

When Japanese kids say the Pledge of Allegiance, do they say, "One nation, under Godzilla?"

I always suspected The Police ripped off some of their tunes from traditional Japanese anti-monster songs, and now it's been confirmed.

But it wasn't only The Police. It's been rumored that Isaac Hayes did the same thing, and this recently discovered snipped sheds more light on this controversial practice:

Who's the big flying moth that's a sex machine to the other moths?

MOTHRA.

You say this cat Mothra is a bad mother---

SHUT YOUR MOUTH!

And so on.

I think it's sad when musicians steal.
