On iTunes

Nothing, lately. I turned it off in the hope the silence would help me sleep. It hasn't, and it seems to make the cats more restless.

I would give anything right now for about six consecutive hours of sleep, which I've had once in the past month.

Yeah, existential angst is much more kind when it makes you sleep 16 hours a day. However, I don't get much done when that goes on.

Once we recognize that thoughts are empty, the mind will no longer have the power to deceive us.

A good romp in the hay cures a lot of bullshit. (sometimes) --dzaster

When I was a flight attendant a last ditch effort (no pun intended) was NyQuil. Not recommended for long term use. When I was a funeral director my job did the trick. Being around dead bodies all day made me so grateful to be breathing (even though I suffered from terrible depression at the time) I slept well most of the time. You can always get a part time gig being a greeter at a local funeral home on the weekends. The first time you see a body curl up in the fetal position as it is being burned you might go home and sleep like a baby. Too bad the industry is so corrupt and only pays minimum wage to boot.
