That mcarp... man, he's fat. But he's so wise.

Now the question is whether it would be easier to lose weight or gain wisdom.

dzaster: Are you still in town?

nina: That is the pic. Keep that one.

Dzaster is still here but gone every chance I get. (Just drove round trip to Atlanta in 2 1/2 days - that was a little insane but I did learn I never want to go East of the Mississippi** again for any reason.) I read Karmic Ironies the other evening and thought I had written it myself.

"The voyage of discovery is not in seeking new landscapes but in having new eyes." --Marcel Proust

"There is only one great adventure and that is inwards toward the self." --Henry Miller

Fuck that. Give me a string of anonymous hotel rooms. I want to know that I don't know what is going to happen next. New landscapes sound good to me. I am outtahere in four weeks; if I hate it I can come back. I think. Does anyone know anything I don't know about "coming home?"

**PS I decided while driving to Georgia the best way to test a spy would be to ask them to spell "Mississippi" REAL QUICK on command. If they could not do it then they were not raised in the US. Why did everyone have to learn to spell that word and when asked they always said it REAL QUICK? I bet you can say it REAL QUICK right now.

I'll have two pounds of wisdom. please, and a pound of educated guesses.

Me thinks that one’s 'uncontrolled avarice' towards gluttony would be far more difficult to contend with than gaining wisdom, but I dunno.

I’m so, like, not wise.
